Zazie Olivia Beetz was born Berlin in 1991. Her father was a German cabinet maker who emigrated to the United States after the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, is also her mother, a South African American social worker. Jennifer Aniston is also a former student of the same high school. Beetz went on to study French at Skidmore College after graduating LaGuardia. She immediately started auditioning after college and landed the part of Van at Atlanta. Beetz, whose parents were the son of a German father as well as an African American mom from Berlin, was raised by her parents in New York and spoke German and English. Zazie began appearing on community and local stages in her early years. In grade school she began acting and went on to become a professional actress. Zendaya's Disney Channel Breakout role Zendaya's dance skills have paid off. The actress and dancer landed an enthralling role in the year 2010, when she appeared alongside Bella Thorne as Rocky Blue in the TV series "Shake it up". Zendaya was 11 when she became vegetarian after she saw a slaughterhouse while on an excursion with her father. PEOPLE have quoted her as saying: "It seemed awful to me to see all those animals being crammed in the slaughterhouse waiting to die their death. It was shocking to me when I tried this way to obtain meat. Seit then, she has maintained a vegetarian lifestyle.
